Our university was founded in 2008 by Mehmet Altınbaş Education and Culture Foundation under the name of Kemer İstanbul Kemerburgaz University,.

Founded on the iş testament to investment in education ’of the late businessman Mehmet Altınbaş, Altınbaş University has always been the most valuable social responsibility heritage for the Altınbaş family. With the change of name, the University, which has gained the power of Altınbaş Holding, has started to move towards its new and competitive targets faster and more confidently.

Having taken its first students in the 2011-2012 academic year, Altınbaş University has rapidly progressed towards becoming an international research university with its breakthroughs. In this context, the patents, TÜBİTAK projects and leadership in international congresses continued to create added value in the field of science.9 Faculties, 3 Institutes, 2 Vocational Schools, including Altin University, a total of 30 undergraduate, 34 associate, 28 master and 6 doctorate program continues with the teaching. Within the scope of its goal of being an international science center, more than 3,000 students from more than 10,000 students studying at the university are students from 88 different countries of the world.
